So just bought an MX5 MK2 that's been supercharged and it's been quite the bumpy road already.

Three days in and some tea-leaf has cut off my cat in the night so I've had to fork out for a whole new exhaust system.

Hopefully the road ahead is less costly, but I've got a fair bit of work still to do myself. Got a soft top I can fit in a week or so ready for the the handful of dry days known as the british summer!!

My other ride is a CBR600RR so speed is not the ultimate goal, just looking to make a fun runaround that handles well and can make tracks when it needs to 👍

Recommend you selling up and getting out of London to the country  ;)

Unfortunately it wasn't the mammal, that would be a more welcome loss 🤣

Bad luck.  I gather the factory fit cats can be worth a couple of hundred quid as scrap, due to the precious metals.  Of course new aftermarket ones contain a lot less, hence they're cheaper than that new.  It used to just be easy-pickings cars like 4x4s that got hit, but it seems even low cars are getting jacked up and robbed nowadays.
