Over the last 2 weeks, some work on the underbody and paint have been attended to. The car has been to CBS Autos for underbody ‘detailing’ and Dinitrol rustproofing and I have treated the paintwork to some Gyeon ceramic coating. I clayed the car, paint correction by DA and cleaned with Gyeon Prep. Applied the Gyeon Q2 One coating topped off with Gyeon Cure, very pleased with the result.

Looks really good Vindaloo. The ceramic stuff seems popular at the minute.

Thinking about a refurb underside of mine, Dinitrol etc. Might do myself... I’ve got the ramps to get it up level.

Interesting comments about the exhaust system. I’ll check wills thread for a video.

IL Motorsport LED DRL/ Foglights fitted to replace OEM fogs, very impressed with Kit and the brightness of the lights. Hardtop, winter wheels and tyres also fitted.

Still pleased with the DRL’s. I bought them from IL Motorsport as they were a bit cheaper than MX5PARTS but it’s the same kit.

Images disappeared as postimage site has changed. I will restore them when I am back in the UK, no time on holiday.

Not posted on head for ages but nothing has really changed on the car in the recent past, but I am now contemplating a sale as with advancing years it is becoming more difficult to get in and out the car.

As you will see from the modification list this is one of the most tastefully (and expensively) modified NC1’s out there with the mods costing well over £12k.

If anyone is seriously interested in the car for not much more than half the cost of the modifications then please feel free to post here or PM me.

Nothing definitely decided at the moment, just looking at options.

I’m shocked to read your selling this. Has it gone already?

I still have it & not really actively tried to sell it. I am 75 shortly and find it increasingly difficult to get in and out of the car. It is the sort of car that will need to find a buyer who really appreciates what has gone into this car, so a regular car ad isn't going to work..

Are you interested?

Its a car I’ve known about for years, since Will started nodding it. Obv followed you/this thread since you picked it up.

I crashed my blue NC last year. I bought a an NC3 sport graphite since.

Although I agree your needs a buyer that understands what’s been done to it. It’s tempting though... what is it’s mileage now? what sort of figures are you thinking?

The car is off to a lucky new owner tomorrow, I’m sure he will have great fun with it.
