Hoping someone can help!

As per title, I've had a look on the forums but could not locate anything regarding fitting/removing the boot trims in a Mk2.

Any help would be appreciated!

Bit of background if anyone is interested:

Bought my first Mx5 last week, it is in poor condition and needs a bit of TLC.

I've decided to tackle the filthy interior first, starting with the boot!

Along with old cigarette packets, a McDonald's fries carton and some very strange fluids, pebbles and grease, i noticed there was no boot trims at all.

Managed to locate some for a pittance, so thought i'd clean up the boot, get it looking smart again with this and a good coat of Hammerite.

Problem is, i haven't got a clue how the trims are meant to fit.

I've managed to fit the one that goes over the latches & know the boot floor is simple, but the wooden piece, and the other 2 long pieces i haven't a clue.

Is there a guide, or is anyone able to advise on this at all?

Thanks in advance!

Hope to learn a lot from here as i'm very beginner level at the moment, but have a keen interest and want to learn!

Where are you? If you can take a look in someone else's boot, it'll be a doddle as it's quite simple really. The wooden panel sits partly over the battery.

Thanks for the reply Ben, I managed to find a pic of a nb boot on ebay! it was a doddle after that!

Im in Birmingham not too far from the West Brom football ground.

The wooden panel wouldn't sit on mine as the battery appears to be the wrong type for the car (it says ford on it, and is alot wider than the battery tray!)
