Hi guys

Just after doing some research about what else you need to do a conversion other than ecu, throttle bodies etc, manifold.

Anyone point me in the right direction?
Couldn’t find anything on this forum. Any links?

Just want to know the whole parts list needed for a conversion. Eg.. TPS, fuel rails? Etc.

You’ll want the usual complement of an IAT, input air temp sensor, and a TPS, throttle position sensor. These are two of the inputs you’ll use to tell the ecu how to manage the engine fueling. Your fuel rail will depend on the ITB’s you choose. Some setups require proprietary or custom ones, others utilize the oem rail.

I run a mk1 1.6 with Toyota silvertops on a techno toy tuning manifold with an oem fuel rail. My ecu is an me221.

Getting good help where I am, USA, is difficult. But, there are tremendous resources in the UK and Europe. Facebook has groups that provide ITB and ecu support. I find those most helpful as it’s quick and easy to get questions answered.

You are already in a great group here. Many of the most active ITB users on the internet also reside here.
