So sometime in the future I'd like to buy the CarbonMiata wide arch kit for the MK2. Anyone got any ideas how much it would cost for a garage to fit/paint the kit? I've tried googling but im getting all kinds of results from 1-7k. Kit pictured.

good luck with that - paint is expensive
every sprayer will have diferent price and it also depends if you have the whole car painted (& its condition before work starts?)
also, to fit the arches the origonls will need removing - easy @ the front (tinsnips) but the rear takes some welding / fabrication so added costs (& diferent quality work available - again £££'s even for rubbish work )
and, before you commit, have you seen the CarbonMiata wide arch kit personally? I say this as photo's & reality can differ (not based on the CM products but generally) also whats the quality & fit like as this can also add costs in a bodyshop

Well I wouldn't be looking to have the whole car painted, just the new arches, and then if there were a noticeable difference between paint colour (which there probably will be) then I'd ask for it to be smoothed in on the edges. I have seen the CarbonMiata kit in person and the fitment was good, I think generally CarbonMiata puts out some higher quality stuff. Another thing, I wouldnt be getting the front bumper they offer with the kit either, just the arches. The idea of having this done is 50/50 between looks and practicality, as I also want to aim for 300bhp in the future this would allow me to run some serious meat in the tyre department.
