"Brought to you by the organisers of the NEC Classic Motor Show and Practical Classics magazine,
The Practical Classics Restoration & Classic Car Show
brings you over 500 magnificent classic cars from barn find to concours within a range of marques from Austins and Fords to Porsches and Ferraris, and everything in-between. With inspirational restoration advice, live demos, workshops, expert tutorials plus must-have products from over 350 exhibitors including restoration specialists, classic car parts, and spring’s largest indoor Autojumble - this is a must for all classic car enthusiasts!" Thats us!
As part of the Live Demos, we're helping out the OC with an interactive stand Ive donated my daily mk1 they're cutting apart and using to demonstrate how popular tasks/ regular maintenance is performed.. from replacing brakes to swapping the hood, fixing slow windows and swapping the cam cover, to talking through sill repairs.
Would love to see as many of you as possible over the weekend for the support! Its bound to be a busy and exciting weekend, with lots of things to ooooh and ahhhh at, things to buy, packed full of inspiration and classics you just dont see on the road anymore! If the Classic Motor Show at the end of last year was anything to go by, this is set to be a worthy day out!
If you're thinking about going, you can get a discount on advanced tickets using the OC discount code "RS14EC" book online at http://www.necrestorationshow.com At just £10.50 theres no reason not to come along!

I'll be going to this, I went to the first one last year and enjoyed it. Although nowhere near as big as the November classic car show (about 2-3 halls as I recall) in a way it's good to be able to comfortably see it all in one day, and from the sound of it looks like it's going to be bigger and better this year. Booked up a train ticket for £22 return from Kent a few months ago so a good value day out!.
