Does anyone know if the wiring is in place for the "Passenger airbag off" keyswitch on all mk2.5s? Mine doesn't have the switch and I'd like to be able to take my little girl out every now and then as she loves it.

If I just buy a switch, is the wiring likely to be tucked away somewhere?

Don't think there is a switch, my Mk2s never had one but if you can get the glovebox out look into the 'bowels' of the dash you'll see a yellow connector, disconnect it it will flash a fault on the dash and you have a small chance of setting off the airbag. when you reconnect it disconnect the battery touch the neg and positive leads together to discharge the system and the push. the footbrake for good measure. Still a small risk of airbag explosion. Most would advise against it! :wallbash:

My fourth MX - 5, after two NB's and an NC, now got a 184BHP ND!

Yeah I definitely don't want to fully disconnect the passenger airbag.

Hmm, that's strange, I'm certain I've seen a small keyswitch down where the heated seat buttons would be on mk2's before 🤔 the search continues!
