Bought a MX5 Venture 2L Roadster Coupe 2012 in early March 2020. Colour grey and 60K on the clock. It is such a smart looking and fun car to drive. Touring the Cotswold country lane with the roof down in a sunny day is an exquisite experience. When I put my foot down slightly, the car just go with no hesitation. It is surprisingly comfortable as well. I now realize why people go nutz with MX5. Hope to learn something from the Nutz in this forum and to share my enjoyment.

Hi. Mk1 owner. Trying to fit a turbo.
Looking for advice on fitting EBC wire connections and AIT.
I see the AIT goes into old MAF plug and the EBC goes to old purge valve plug, but mine is rapidly fluctuating.
Is that correct or is there something I should do?
(Wire EBC straight time ECU for example.)

Hi, I'm Adrian, 33, from Northern Ireland and I've been restoring a 1990 1.6 NA since November 2019. Finishing painting tomorrow in original UC crystal white. Plans are to build a fun, reliable turbo mx5.

Hi all,

I am in the process of fitting an NB 1.6 engine into a Triumph Spitfire in place of its 1500. It seemed a good idea at the time..

Engine is mounted and everything in place except the electrics, which is not my strong point!

Thanks for the help so far!

Cheers,

David

Hi all, Im Cole based up in Yorkshire, new to MX5 ownership. I just picked up a stock Classic Edition NA a few weeks back after wanting one for a few years and instead knocking around in a MGF VVC instead.

Currently making my way through the minefields that are wheels, tyres and suspension setups.

Welcome,  lot's of information here and on MIata.net garage  :thumb-up: The MX5 is extremely sensitive to any wheel, tyre, suspension change so the search facility is definitely your friend !

Hi,

I have just purchased a built MX5 Rocketeer which is my second MX, having had one a few years ago.

It's running but there is a bit of work to do - hope to do some events in the future.

Hi. Just joined. Live in Warwickshire.

Have a 1999 MK2. Am old, just like the car - hence the tag - Old Mazda Man

Have had help from a few owners already on rear wheel sills, and I have posted an ad to see if anyone knows where to get some as I have a specialist who can weld them in - he is doing 4 Jaguar XJ120s (Morses car I think) at the moment, so he is very good.

Anyway - hi to all, and let's hope the sun comes out, although I drive with the top down anyway unless it is pouring down.

:)

Crikey that's a rare MX5, where did you find one of those? is it a running car or unfinished project

Hey folks, Patrick here. On my third Mx5 NA, the previous two were built and maintained thanks to this forum!

I've finally become a registered member and looking forward to paying back some of the knowledge I've received (as well as posting some new puzzles).

Hello all,

Just bought a 1990 Eunos Roadster as a project car. I have always liked these cars but was never in a position to buy one before. Watching Car Passion Channel and Money Pit really inspired me to go for it. Wish me luck and I hope I can count on your support when times get hard during the build.

Hi,

A new subscriber from Italy.
I am from North East in between dolomites and riviera.

In the past I spent few years in the Midlands and did few trackdays in Mallory, Donington, silverstone, and Wales.

I own my nbfl 1.6 from 10 years and few years ago I "Blinked" it in Cheshire.

I love Mallory Park because you can see a full race duel like on the couch with HD TV.
Every time I could, I went there, even for bonfire....

Cheers

Hello everyone. I'm new here and it's only taken me 31/2 years to get around to joining which is the length of time I've owned my MX% Eunos. Hope I don't get too much flak for owning a 1.6 Auto!
