Well that was bloody good fun. Andrew has a very nice BBR turbo, with probably the best ride/handling balance of any MX5 I've had a go in. Andrew, is there any chance you could see if you can find any markings on those old Gaz dampers that might give an indication of what they're called? I'm very keen to find a set that's as close to yours as possible.

No problem, I'll call you tomorrow around 10am.
Anyone else?

Go easy on Apex tyres - it sounds like you only had the fronts 'straightened up'. I was recommended Apex by a friend-of-the-family's local garage. I paid £70, gave them some figures, and in terms of side to side accuracy, they were ridiculously spot on. They couldn't hit my target castor vs front camber value, which is no fault of theirs. They have a four wheel laser alignment machine, and they know how to use it if you're prepared to pay. Put it this way, I'd gladly take my car to WIM or Rodders or Blink if I thought they could do a better job.

Hi Harv,
Does your car have a manual steering rack? If it does, I'd love to take it off your hands...

Thanks, Owen
