HI, bought an eunos a couple of months back as a bit of an impulse buy. White with cusco coilovers, uprated arbs, jasma approved manifold and system, k&n filter. 105k kms. Couldn't say no! It's currently my third car and needs a bit of tLc but its good fun! Currently on the look out for a diff due to a bolt inside coming loose and destroying it. Hopefully some helpful info and people on here :)

Welcome, there are a couple of us in Cheltenham and a good few more around Gloucestershire.

Which engine have you got and what diff type are you after and people can advise you further. Also get some pic up :)

Hi, its a 1.6 after an LSD or I can get an open one welded as I've heard the VLSDs arent too strong. I've not got many pics at the mo, but I snapped it up as it needed a clutch, sorted that its got no massive rust issues either which is a bonus. The previous owner (who I work with) fitted a new hood in oct last year too :) I'll try and get some pics up later. I had the original diff welded but one of the bolts that holds the crown gear on the diff worked its way loose and destroyed it :( a bit of locktite next time I think lol

To be frank it depends on what you're going to do with it. Yes the VLSDs can grenade but only when really abused and they can be "refreshed" just by giving it new fluid. My friends locks very well and predicatably.

If you're planning on drifting everywhere (except the roads mind...) then yes welded or for more compliance (but more cost) a torsen. Sounds like a good find though

Welcome to the club.

As people have said there are a few of us around the Cheltenham area.

If you are interested I will be trying to organise a drive meet to Chedder Gorge soon for some of us local people, and get the Bristol lot in too.
