If you're having any problems with the forum following the upgrade and migration, report them here.

I don't mean 'I can't find the button to do {insert problem}', have a look around. A few things have moved about so use a bit of noodle to find them.

I'll list common issues/fixes here:
  • Page layout issues - You probably have the stylesheet from the old forum cached. Try pressing 'CTRL-R' to force it to reload it.
  • Front End - Needs some work to fit the new style.
  • Signature issues - I spotted some oddness in mine. You will either need to edit it or redo it if editing it makes it gobbledegook. This is common after a major upgrade.
  • Avatars - One of the upgrade processes merged Avatars and Profile pics as there's only one on this version of the forum. For some reason it chose Profile pics instead of the intended Avatars, so your Avatars will need uploading again.
  • 'Gender/Location/Interests' fields - I did a tidy up to remove the duplicate fields from these. If your profile has lost your entries for them, please reenter them. Location in particular, as this is important if you post a For Sale ad. If you didn't fill in your location in the first place, please use this opportunity to put one in.
  • Speed - The server CPU is getting maxed out already, so at busy times it can get slow. I'm doing some optimisation on the server to try to help, but I think I'll need to add another CPU to the hosting. Memory's fine, which was the main problem with the old server on which couldn't be expanded.
  • £ sign not showing properly - The upgrade had changed the encoding to something obscure. I've set it back now so £ signs will show properly. If you have an ad on the forum with a funny character in front of the £ sign, just edit it out.
  • Emails - I'm pretty sure it's not sending email notifications out currently.
  • Terms & Conditions / For Sale rules - These are now at the bottom of the forum. It doesn't mean they no longer apply!

Functions fine, finding stuff won't take long but it's really painfully slow for me, I've tried it on two different machines too. I don't know if you expected it to be 'just a bit sluggish' or 'makes you want to throw it at the wall slow' (it's the latter. LOL.

You'll probably see some errors pop up - 500 errors/other as I try a few things to help resolve the speed issue. Refresh the page if you get errors.

I've used a different PHP build and it seems to have dropped CPU usage dramatically, the forum is far more responsive now. Traffic's died down now but I'll review it again tomorrow to see if it's sorted the issue out.

I don't think it's ever been 200k. Try reducing it first.

It should downsize your pic to fit. However if it's too big in the first place it might not allow you to upload it.

I don't think I can "view new posts" on my Symbian phone, all I can view is the forum index, no other functions. I don't think I can sign in/out on the phone either.
