Missing the numbered plaque by the passenger door. There should also be a M2 plaque in the engine bay.

Let's hope whoever gets it that they appreciate it for what it is and keep it all together, I would hate to think it could end up on slammed on Rokkors, with baseball bat rolled arches, banded steelies and sticker bombed.
I wonder how thev significance of these cars gets lost, at some point someone must have bought it knowing what it was, then sold it on without fully disclosing it to the next buyer.
It must be genuine though, the only thing harder than finding one for sale would be to source all the unique bits - unless someone had access to a stock of original special parts and built their own copy.

to be fair if i had the cash i would probably have taken a chance and driven up there last night and waited till he opened to wave cash in his face.
thats how i got my SSR mesh for £80 drove to the scrappy at 6am in the morning and waited

Indeed - I am pretty hardcore with my love for MX5s, but overnight with 2 babies in tow from Poole to Bolton would not have been practical.......ah well, I always say these things happen for a reason!
