Glad to be of serviceyou know I spent all last night looking through various car classifieds websites because of this thread!
This one has no traction, the really dark blue leather and the 18" split rim wheels (with properly rated tyres on them)

Are they the Sport Design rims (GT3) style? Lovely wheels I had them on mine, bit of a nuisance with the lacquer though which is common.
and seeing us other have, here was mine....

Not sure where to go with the next car. I cant see me coming away from a 2 seater removeble top for a long time yet but not sure whether I'd stick with the next mx5 when it comes out or try something new.
I love my mk3, great car, cheap, cheapish to repair (although more than a mk1). I think the only thing I would gain from owning the Porsche is the badge, and the speed. I am perfectly happy with the speed on my mk3 so I wonder if I'd just be paying for the badge? I'd have to see what the latest mx5 will be like when it comes out. Lots of speculation but no evidence yet. However, I have another 3.5 years before I can think about changing. Porsche or mk4?
New car: MK3 2.0 liter sport in sunlight silver. RX8 arbs, Rodders Springs and alignment, RB manifold, IL motorsports backbox, 2nd Cat delete, Cosworth Panel Filter, AP package, lots of little odds and sods.
Last car: Red mk1 JRSC with crank overlay, intercooler, Megasquirt DIY PnP plus more making 7.4 psi and 180bhp!

The only way you'll ever be able to answer that question is to go and have a drive of one.

You've had this up for sale for 8 months...the market is clearly not being kind to green Porkers.
It looks in good condition, good luck with the sale.
I'm glad I like unusual colours - I had a Speed Yellow 993 before (That was approaching concours condition but took a year to sell). The usual sea of silver/grey boxsters is less exciting somehow . . .

Totally agree, alot of people think all Boxster's can be picked up for bargin basement prices, our lagoon Green 2003 S took the best part of a year to sell we had plenty of interest but stupid offers for a very highly spec'd low milage car with full Porsche history we were in no rush and held out for the right buyer who knew the cars true value.

Yep - its been up for a while. To be honest its not just green ones its Boxsters in general. Everybody thinks you can pick up a low mileage 1 owner car with Porsche history thats been well maintained for £5k which is the exception rather than the rule. Its a cracking car in excellent condition and has been my daily on and off so have been in no hurry to sell. If I didn't have kids I'd keep it but the lure of a bigger car and the fact that I have 2 growing kids means it has to go (I'm not selling my Roadster)!

Green Porsches just don't sell well, I don't know why, but they seem to to be touted about as being undesirable. Thats why you don't see many of them, and when you do, they take forever to sell because no bugger wants it unless it's much cheaper than a more desirable colour.

I was aware of this prior to buying the Lagoon Green but just could not bare the Lapis\midnight Blue, Black and Silver options none of which do the lines of the Box any favors the Lagoon imo looked fantastic alas come resale time we had to wait for a like minded buyer.
