Just a quick 1 to say anyone wishing to make a donation for mick's family can do so to my paypal address. All the details are in the main thread but don't want anyone who would like do donate to miss the opportunity.

The address is: Mr2daj@hotmail.com

Thank you for your generosity. I am sure it will help his family during this terrible time.

All,

just had a call from Steve - thanks to all who have contributed and made generous donations... Mick's partner Angie would be grateful if she could donate this money to a charity, in particular Children's Heart Unit Fund at the Freeman Hospital; The unit cared for close family with health problems.

If anyone is uncomfortable with this request please PM me and your donation will be refunded, no questions asked. So far, the amount has reached £422.00 and counting, and a final sum will be totalled before giving Angie the cheque.

Thanks again to everyone... Dan

dan, can you hang about with the final amount till after jae,as i will do a whipround for him there, with menaces, and also i think a minute clapping(cos hooters or revving will be frowned upon by organisers) is well in order too.

im sure all at jae will support this.

Great idea Ron, does anyone know what his favourite colour was? Or the colour of his car maybe? I'll paint up a small bucket for the donations and bring it down to JAE

All,

As promised, an update with regards to the total raised for Mick Pollard's family (charity of choice)... we have managed to collect a total of £750.00!!! (Any monies raised from JAE will be collect post event and given as a separate donation, thanks guys).

This is a fantastic amount in such a short time. It proves how much people thought of Mick, as a colleague, friend and family man.

I'm sure this donation will be greatly appreciated in such difficult circumstances.

Again, thank you all for your contributions and our thoughts go out to his family tomorrow on the day of his funeral.

Thanks, Dan.
