I have some variety of alternatives to get rid of the heavy rusty original number plate bracket, which also limits the air flow to the engine bay.

1. These ones mount under the front bumper of MK1 (NA). Tight and solid fit. Made from brushed stainless steel. Very lightweight with only 150 grams (both). Will prevent some scratches to the bumper as well. No drilling needed, as using existing securing points.
A pair is 15 GBP.

2. License plate mounting brackets for MK1 (NA). It is popular design, that mounts through the front bumper, allowing the use of front lip. License plate is lower, relative to option 1. Made from brushed stainless steel. Lightweight with only 150 grams (both). No drilling needed, as using existing securing points.
15 GBP for a pair.

3. ALU license plate offset brackets. Variable bolt distance 140-160mm. Aluminium: Lightweight with only 200 grams, strong & dimensioned to withstand pole hits in auto crossing. Offers full adjustability with the baby teeth replacement mount offered next, but works with stock baby teeth too. Comes with securing kit.
Price 22 GBP.

4. Stainless steel offset bracket. Lightweight with only 220 grams. Variable bolt distance 140-160mm (similar to ALU). Strongly dimensioned. Offers full adjustability with the baby teeth replacement mount offered next, but works with stock baby teeth too. Both coming with securing kit.
Price 20 GBP.

5. Duraluminium offset bracket mount /Baby teeth replacement/. CNC machined from 10mm 2017 T4 duraluminium and powder coated, it weighs only 120 gram. This mount replaces the heavy stock bracket and offers the same connecting point for offset license plate bracket. Works for NA & NB. Used with the license plate bracket offered it will add full adjustability to its position. Available in red and black. Comes with securing kit consisting of zinc coated 10.9 bolts and stainless steel washers.
The price is 21 GBP.

6.
Alternative to the duraluminum offset bracket mounts are these stainless ones.
Price for them is 14 GBP + P&P.

P&P is 3 GBP extra for any item.

some great products there, I really like the offset bracket, the locking bolt to keep the angle where you want it is a great idea, very well thought out

Thanks to everyone for the interest on the brackets (and sorry for the delayed reply)!

Add a price for number 4 please jass.

Thanks, Andy! It is edited now.

Yes. Honestly said I dont have a MK2.5 close to me at the moment and am busy to travel to one further.
I would like to give it a push sooner, in case somebody supports me with input on this.

Thanks, Garath. Well spoted:). In conjunction with the baby teeth replacement the two bolts allow (and fix) the rotation, but also do allow, slide forth and back, by using the rear slotted hole.

The use with the stock baby teeth (with the provided securing kit) alows only rotation and looks like this:

Do you have any more pics of each type of bracket fitted, perhaps from a distance?

Any photos yet? I'm pretty interested in getting one, I just need to see how they look on a car from further back, so I can decide which to go for.

Okay thanks jass. Can you take pics of each bracket with a number plate fitted please? Both the side mounted ones, and the ones which sit in the middle below the radiator.
