MX5 Heaven are working with a company that can provide some hot camshafts. I forget their name (Advanced Motorsport or Engines or something), but the guy I was talking to was called Wayne. Give Adrian at MX5 Heaven a call and he'll be able tell you. Beware - Wayne can talk! He's a nice guy though :)

If you go too hot on the duration you'll have to swap to solid lifters as the hydraulic ones won't be able to keep up.

Piper Cross do some 'fast road' cam shafts for the BP-05. I think they just re-grind your existing ones?

Hope that helps.

Just do an Exintake mod, it'll save you money and reap the similar effects. Do a google!

Are the shafts hollow? I hear you need to be careful in removing them to avoid bending them?

Thats if you can find one. I've been searching for months for one :-( Been considering buying a complete head/engine, removing the cams and selling the rest on. (Dont suppose you know of somewhere i could pick one up do ya?)

Interested in hearing more about these MX5 Heaven cams.

Find one? All you need is a new pulley and 1.8 exhaust camshaft which you can get from autolink. I'm also intrigued by the MX5heaven cams though.

Tried em, seem to recall the response was something along the lines of 'we have any cams you want apart from those ones'. Tried a few other breakers. Tried 24/7 spares and got a few, but all wanted silly money. And keep trying people on ebay who are breaking full cars, most will only sell the complete engine, understandebly. :( Will try autolink again
