Finally got my rollbar installed. Seems to have stiffined the car up reasonably :thumb-up: The car feels subltley different to drive prob the extra weight high up at the back. On the negative side I can see the sum total of bugger all out the rear view mirror lol. Onto the pics......

And finally the view from the rear view mirror. Although tbh inreallity its worse. If someone is right up close behind you can see them or if they are miles away your ok anything else or if there is a gradient involved you can't see much

Confession time, I didn't have the testicular fortitude/mchenical compatence to fit it myself :paperbag: A local garage did it. Dont think they had to many problems, however, one of the holes didnt align quite right so had to be redrilled and there was a wire not mentioned in the instructions that had to be moved to allow a hole to be drilled for one of the rear mountings. The plastic trim round the seat belt towers had to be trimmed a bit but nothing drastic and they didn't cut the carpet at all just tucked the excess down the side which looks ok. I think the Ace uses a similar mounting to the deuce ie inside the seat belt towers as opposed to the front.

I like it :thumb-up: I suppose you just have to pretend you have a van and don't have a rear window at all....and get dead good with your mirrors
...must be something to do with the peculiar alchemy that comes with mixing a bunch of seemingly innocuous household substances, adding heat, et voila....out comes a cake!
