I know it's long overdue as I had the new suspension fitted back on the 4th June, so here are some pics from the day at WIM which I throughly enjoyed as they guys there were great.

Before all the work started you can see she's riding fairly high!

Then it was down to business in the workshop

I think she looks pretty clean underneath, having been undersealed by a previous owner

Then on to having the suspension set up for "fast road"

and then the end result

On the drive home I could really tell the difference over the stock suspension that was pretty tired. She now rides likes she's on rails with minimal roll into the corners. Yes, she's a bit fimer that she was before, but I'm quite happy with that, although I have the ability to soften her up if I get a bit of grief from the misses.

I'd like to thank Tony at WIM for all his guidance in what would be the best suspension and set up for me and to the lads who did all the hard work in the workshop, and also Mark (Mr Jibberingloon) at NCB Motorsport for supplying the BC Racing coilovers which after a couple of months now, I'm still really pleased with. I'd have no problem using these guys again.....thanks again :thumb-up:

It's amazing what a difference in ride height can also make to the looks of the car!

A real improvement in looks sEan, and your car is one of the cleanest underneath I've seen, especially on a UK car. :thumb-up:

Cheers Guys, and yeh I'm really pleased with the looks and the handling.

Will get the hood replaced next, probably a mohair and will then look at some new wheels, funds allowing!

Looks so much better just that bit lower, v clean underbody :thumb-up:
Can I ask what exhaust that is? Looks like it might be MX5parts offering, looking into my options at present. I'm getting a set of coilovers fitted next week and then plan to book her in to WIM soon after for the same treatment your beauty had; any advise on most suitable height setting for nicely lowered stance but able to cope with standard speed humps?
Steve.

Exhaust is 5 parts single exit, a great exhaust, nice and raspy but not too loud.

He's running wheel centre to arch 12" / 305mm F&R, I'm running 300mm front, 315mm rear and both pretty usable yet slammed ride heights :thumb-up: (around 50mm lower than stock I believe)

Stunning car, absolutely stunning..... As you experienced the boys love the 5, plus they welcome you being present while the work is being done.

Thanks for responding on my behalf Tom, and also all the great feedback from everyone.

I really enjoyed my time at WIM who were great in letting me ask questions and actually see for myself what was going on as they were fitting the coilovers. Top job by all thru advice, ordering, delivery and fitting. :thumb-up:
