I usually get mine done once a year regardless of what the service sheet says.

had one of these in the cupboard for about 2 months, i never seem to find the time to get round to doing it!!

get on with it! it should only take half an hour, maybe an hour if you're inexperienced.

i did mine with the car on a jack at the side of the road.

Once a year!?

I'd change the filter at least twice a year if you plan on keeping oil in the engine for 12 months.

We're talking about fuel filters, not oil filters.......

I bought one of these last week (a big metal job .. for £18) but cant work out where it lives.. any pointers chaps ?

Offside rear, just before the rear wheel. If you jack up the rear corner, it's easy enough to change the filter lay on the ground. Make sure you release the fuel pressure before changing the filter.
