I know it's not to everyone's taste but just wondering if there are any stickerbombers on here? I'm looking to get a panel on my car done and would rather pay someone to get it done properly rather than mess it up myself.

Cheers,

Rob

I did my laptop as the case got scratched. My mates brother has done a wing on his 5. His progress blog is on here, I'll dig it out tomorrow.

Its fairly simple to do yourself, just do patterns/repeat stickers to get repetition.

Stickerbombing can never be messed up as by definition it looks messed up anyway.

Ill give you some quick instructions.

1. Clean area free from oil/grease.
2. put on stickers.
3. spray clear lacquer.

If you mess it up just take all the stickers off and start again.

Please don't pay anyone to do it for you.

Stickerbombing should be limited to teenagers BMX's

My last car was bombed and it took ages to rip that stupid crap out.

Ffs it's getting more and more like the owners club on here.
If you decide to do it check the stickers are lacquer proof, alternatively use vinyl based stickers, get them from ebay cheap from Taiwan.

As I said it's not to everyone's taste but after some useful comments here I'll give it a go. Essexpunx, not copying you but it is the back license plate panel I plan on doing on mine too

You could try just doing the fuel lid to start, fairly small part, easily replaced if you screw up ;)

I decided to go for a sticker bomb sheet for mine:

after doing it I realised it would have been much easier to do with individual stickers!!

That looks good, and you could always add your own stickers on top of the pre-made sheet to personalise.
