is there anything I can do to get a bit more room?
Posted 12 July 2012 - 09:18 PM
You can remove the arm rest and replace with the Jass pocket and door pull very snaz more room for your knees then.
Cut the foam out the OEM seat so you sit lower
Get a low sitting bucket seat
Fix the seat to floor instead of rails
Side mount the bucket seat to get lower
Cut a section of your legs out and then re-attach your feet?

Seany87: If MX5s are gay hairdresser cars then Im gayer than Elton John being spanked by Boy George draped in a rainbow flag having his balls tickled by Micheal Barrymore whilst being spunked on by the ghost of Freddie Mercury. MX5 and proud!

I have driven a few convertables while looking over the windscreen, makes people stare mind, even if it is for a laugh.

Apparently I have short fat legs so I have my seat forward a fair way, and had to get a smaller flat bottomed wheel to fit my legs in. I couldn't wear a helmet with the roof on even though my hardtop isn't lined (didn't try soft top) so have bought but not yet fitted lotus seats which should lower me more.
I used to drive with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, but then I swapped the devil for a supercharger whine and told the angel to get lost...
Disclaimer: If you don't like my humour, just don't laugh. Simple, I won't be offended and would prefer it if you weren't either.
