Hi, my wife & I have just purchased a MX5 (mk 3.5???) sport tech roadster.
Used info on this forum & mx5oc to get us going. I've always liked the MX5 right since they were first thought of...
Looking forward to life as an MX5 owner!
I'll sneak a question in here to get going ... is there a thread some where which explains the moder designations etc (for example our 2011 car is a mk3.5?). Also what does na nb or nc mean? This may not be the right area but I'm still getting used to format of forum ...

NA = mk1
NB = mk2
NC = mk3

Hello from Portsmouth :D

So we have been together for around 4 years now & I have to say the most fun I've ever had with a car!

First anniversary edition 1991 No. 027 162k clocked up so far,  I was curious how many of the 250 are still on the road? Sadly she is suffering from quite a lot of rust so I am also looking for recommendations for sill & rear wheel arch repairs / replacements locally would be gratefully received,

Thanks guys

Hi all, just joined the forum after lurking in the background for years, the expertise on here has saved me countless hours, headaches and pounds in the past so thanks for all the info! On my 3rd mx5 now, this one's a 1.8 N.A. Currently gathering the knowledge and parts needed to supercharge the old slaaaag!

Hi!

I'm new here. After almost 2 years owning an NBFL 1.6 Phoenix 2003 I finally joined the forum.

Planning soon to replace the cat, mid-pipe, muffler, and install cold air induction (ILM)...

I am just an amateur but I like doing the work myself (maintenance too)... and I never stop learning!

I love my Mazda  :D

Cheers from Paris

Hey guys,

Been signed up for a long while but never actually got around to saying hello! Thought i better get it sorted as my MX5 is now safe for use..

I have a 1997 NA 1.6, one of the last few NA's i believe, still only creature comfort is power steering... But hey I don't mind that, Less is More! Bought it with no history and 100k on the clock.. Noting that a camblet & a good service can't sort!

I've been slowly adding to my MX5 with a few subtle little mods. I am looking forward to posting a few pics. This is a great forum and I hope i can add to it!

Many Thanks,

Sam
